Abstract

Economics is one area of study that tries to solve the basic needs of human life through the act of production, distribution and consumption of goods and services one indicator in the economy is income. The relation with this research revenues sourced from respondents who divide the 3 respondents ie traders, farmers, fish farmers in dam Mulur. The purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristics of the population that utilize Reservoir as an economic activity and analyze the extent of Reservoir Mulur effect on the economic conditions of people around, especially in terms of income. The higher the income the higher the public demand. Be aware of the results of research that has been done characteristics of residents in Bendosari District measured by population parameters, population growth, population density and population composition (age, gender, education, occupation) that is included with the condition of a dense and prosperous population, productive. Seen from the total population with the number in 2016 is 69.378 souls consist of 34.329 male population or 49.4% and 35.049 female population or 50.6% where with the total area of 5.299 km2, the productive age population reached 60.42%. The pattern of correlation between the reservoir influence on the economic condition of the community around the dam belongs to the good category, if it is seen from the parameters of needs, distance, the relation of the region indicates that there is a close relationship of the three variables that make a unity, of course, raise the community around the dam.
