Abstract
Abstract Employees are the most valuable asset of any company because they can make or break the reputation of a company that has long built and can make the company profitable with the competence of its performance. Absence is one of the problems that exist in the company that shows that there is no satisfaction in the employee. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between job satisfaction with employee performance. Hypothesis proposed is there is a positive relationship between job satisfaction with employee performance. Subjects in this study were employees at the BKPPD regional agency as many as 50 people. The sampling technique used in this research is by using quota purposive sampling technique. This research uses quantitative method by using measurement scale of job satisfaction and employee performance documentation. Analysis in this study using non parametric correlation using SPSS program version 15.00 and obtained correlation coefficient value of 0.182 with significance p = 0.103; (p> 0,05) this shows that there is no corelation between job satisfaction variable and employee performance. That is, it was found that there was no correlation between job satisfaction and employee performance. The category of job satisfaction is high with an empirical average of 43.38. Employee performance categorization is high with empirical mean equal to 84,04. Keywords: employee performance, job satisfaction
