Abstract

This research aims to determine the export of palm oil and the determinants of international trade in Indonesia. The variables used are the amount of CPO production, exchange rates, interest rates, international CPO prices, and international trade. The data used in this study uses time series data using the Error Correction Model (ECM) method. The results show that the significant effect in the short term is the variable amount of CPO production, exchange rate, interest rates and international CPO prices on Indonesian CPO exports while international trade variables are not significant in the short term. Significant long-term results are the variable amount of CPO production, interest rates, international prices and international trade on Indonesian CPO exports while the insignificant is that the exchange rate variable does not affect Indonesian CPO exports.
