Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine the differences in employee job satisfaction based on the type of work in PT. X Surakarta. Hypothesis proposed that there are differences in employee job satisfaction based on the type of work in PT. X Surakarta. Data collection methods have used a quantitative approach with measuring tools in the form of a job satisfaction scale. Quota Sampling technique has been used for sampling in this study, the subjects of the study were 50 employees who worked with monotonous types of work as well as 50 employees with non monotonous work types. While data analysis has been done with Independent Sample T-Test analysis. Based on the results of data analysis has obtained t equal to -2,840 and sig (2-tailed) of 0,005 (p < 0,01) which means there are differences in employee job satisfaction is very significant based on the type work in PT. X Surakarta. Non monotonous employee have higher job satisfaction with a mean of 107,38 than employees who work monoton with a mean of 103,38 in PT. X Surakarta.
