Abstract

This study aims to describe implementation of mutual cooperation value in urban community (case study on Sidomulyo Hamlet, Makamhaji Village, Kartasura District, Sukoharjo District). This research uses descriptive qualitative. Data collection uses observation, interviews, and documentation. The validity of data using source triangulation and technique. Data analysis uses interactive models through data collection, data reduction, presentation and conclusion. The results showed that:1). Implementation of mutual cooperation value in urban community in Sidomulyo Hamlet Village, Makamhaji Village can be done by conducting work activities at the time of Indonesian Independence Day, such as work activity to paint road in environment of Sidomulyo Hamlet done by society, doing activities to be servant, night watch activities; 2). Obstacles that are experienced are the lack of awareness of the community Sidomulyo Hamlet and a sense of cooperation in carrying out work activities; 3). The solution given to the society of Sidomulyo Hamlet is that there must be a firm regulation from the RW chairman, as well as the sanction to the community, in order to comply with all regulations, especially the Sidomulyo Hamlet Village, Makamaji Village.
