Electrooxidation is a liquid waste treatment method that has advantages such as used to remove organic compounds and suspended solids without addition of chemicals with low operational costs. This research aims at applying electrolysis method for striated liquid waste treatment by testing some variables which is influence of voltage and time to change color, pH, TSS, and COD. This research ran by the condition of batch process and fixed variable used was aluminium cathode (Al) that effective surface area 31,98 cm2 and anode of zinc (Zn) with effective surface area 31,2 cm2 and arrangement of parallel electrode with the distance 3 cm. Electrical voltage and electrooxidation time are independent variables with variation of 4, 7, 10 Volts and 10, 20, 30 minutes. Samples taken on each variable then analyzed change of color, pH, TSS, and COD. The results showed that the increase of electric voltage and time of electrooxidation caused the decrease of absorbance, pH, TSS, and COD. The best result was obtained the most clear of waste color at voltage of 4 V and electrooxidation time 30 minutes with absorbance value of 0,001 A and TSS of 2,167 mg/L. At 4 V voltage and 10 minutes electrooxidation time obtained pH 7,573, and at 10 V and electrooxidation time 30 minutes obtained COD value 16,193 mg/L. The results of waste treatment in this research have met the standard term of standard quality that set by the government for disposal into the environment.
