Abstract

The Qur'an is a book that contains the guidelines of human life in the life of the world and in the next life (akhirat), therefore to study the Qur'an is a duty that must be done together for Muslims. Making the Qur'an a priesthood in life is a principle that every Muslim should possess. Therefore it is very important for Muslims to learn how to read the Qur'an and the content contained therein. Pondok Pesantren Ta'mirul Islam is a hut that upholds the holy book of the Qur'an. Because in the Qur'an there are sentences or kalam-kalam Allah useful as a guide for human life. Therefore, Pondok Pesantren Ta'mirul Islam has the motto "iso ngaji lan ora lost karo sekolah negri" which means clever in reading the Qur'an and possessing the provision of general knowledge. And also Pondok Pesantren Ta'mirul Islam assume that "Al-Qur'anu Taajul Ma'had" which means Al Qur'an is crown hut. Based on the statement, Pondok Pesantren Ta'mirul Islam is very concerned about learning the Qur'an both inside and outside the classroom. The main purpose of this research is to find out the learning strategy of Al-Qur'an in Pondok Pesantren Ta'mirul Islam. The purpose of the study specifically is to describe the learning strategy of Al-Qur'an in Pondok Pesantren Ta'mirul Islam. This type of research is a field research (field research) that is descriptive qualitative. Descriptive research is a research that seeks to describe and interpret objects in accordance with what it is. The method used in collecting research data that is using observation method, interview and documentation. After doing the research, it can be concluded that the strategy used in Pondok Pesantren Ta'mirul Islam in learning Al-Qur'an is sorogan, which ordered students to go forward one by one in front of the ustadz for the reading of his Qur'an. And there are also five methods used to support learning strategy of Al-Qur'an in Ta'mirul Islamic Boarding School namely Ta'limul Qiro'ah, Hifdzu Juz Amma, Bin Nadzor, Halaqoh and Ta'limul Qur'an.
