Abstract
Malnutrition is still a major problem in Indonesia which can lead to the failure of growth, development and death in infants and toddlers. Nutrition can not be handled by giving breast milk and breast milk companion food. In general, nutritional conditions are less influenced by 3 factors namely Predisposisi, Supporters, and Drivers. However, in reality there are still many mothers who do not provide proper MPASI so that it can cause the disruption of growth and development of children under five, hence there is need improvement of pusher factor that is from family support, community support, and support of health worker. All three support is very important for the provision of Food Supplement Water Milk Ibudapat appropriate. This type of research is an observational research with survey method with questionnaire tool through approach with cross sectional design (Crossectional). Based on the calculation obtained 80 respondents with sampling technique using simple random sampling. The independent variables of this research are the driving factors (family support, community support, health personnel support) and the dependent variable of this research is the accuracy of feeding the companion milk. The operational definition of this research is said to support family, community, good health workers if the score> 75, if the score of 40-75 then including the role of moderate support, if the score <40 then support less. Data processing using SPSS software and analyzed using Chi-Square. Based on the results of the study there are 61.25% who received good support and appropriate in providing food companion breast milk. Based on the results of statistical tests using Chi-Square values obtained p value = 0.001 which means there is a relationship between family support to the accuracy of the provision of food companion breast milk. The results show that there are 45% who have enough / moderate support and appropriate in providing Milk Companion Food, Based on the statistical test using Chi-Square obtained value p value = 0.001 which means there is a relationship between community support to the accuracy of feeding . The results show that there are 57.5% who have good and proper support in providing breast milk feed. Based on the results of statistical tests using Chi-Square values obtained p value 0.001 which means there is a relationship between the support of health personnel to the accuracy of the provision of Food Companion Milk Mother. The accuracy of breastfeeding feeding can be successful if supported by the role of family support, community support, and support of health personnel, as this can improve self-esteem and can motivate mothers to provide proper and appropriate milk companion foods.
