Abstract
Self-disclosure plays an important role in building closeness and trust in a family. Moreover, self-disclosure related sexual behavior conducted by adolescents. This study aims to describe the self-disclosure of adolescent children to single-parent mother status related to sexual behavior. The type of this research is descriptive qualitative. Sampling is done by purposive sampling method that is 3 adolescent woman age 15-19 years and 2 teenage boys 15-19 year, fifth subject is children who live with mother single parent status. The data in this study was obtained by in-depth interviews to the five research subjects. The validity of data used is triangulation of data sources by comparing the results of interviews with adolescents and parents as well as data obtained from related journals. The results showed that self-disclosure related to sexual behavior is different for each individual. A prominent difference is due to gender differences between subjects. In addition, children's self disclosure to single-parent status-related mothers can reduce the concerns felt by parents and increase the parents' trust in children.
