Abstract
This research’s purpose is to improve children’s soft motoric by using demonstration in utilizing scraps method in kindergarten. This classroom action research includes sixteen children divided into nine boys and seven girls at TK Siwi Peni 6 Wonogiri. Stages of the research are generally consisted of four stages, namely: (1) planning, (2) action, (3) observation, and (4) reflection. Those four stages done in two cycles. Method used to collect the data in this research is observation towards children’s behavior in drawing, cutting, and finishing task. Then, written into observation sheet as research instrument. The output of children’s activity written into observatin sheet then assessed. Based on the observation result toward the using of demonstration in utilizing scraps method, the researcher concludes that children’s soft motoric in utilizing scraps is improved. The observation result before action is 59,3%, after action of cycle I increased to 71,8% and in cycle II increased to 85,6%. Thus, children’s soft motoric using demonstration in ulitizing scraps increased in every cycles.
