Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the saber pungli team, the settlement of criminal acts of illegal levies and the obstacles of the implementation of the saber pungli team function. The research method uses sociological jurisdiction. The data source consists of primary and secondary data. Methods of data collection through literature study and interview, then the data were analyzed qualitatively. The results of the study show that the saber pungli team not only performs its duties and functions to eradicate levies, but will have an evaluation mechanism to measure the level of eradication effectiveness. The saber pungli team will conduct an evaluation based on the benchmark of success to be determined. Illegal levies go into corruption cases and the case is delegated to the court of corruption. The obstacles to the implementation of corruption in the form of illegal levies are that the operation should be hand catching operations, so the constraint is just how to find the right momentum to have evidence and transactions
