Abstract
This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. Data collection techniques are observation, interview, and documentation. Informants are students of class X IPA 1 and students of class X IPA2. Based on the results of the research note that the level of student activeness increases with the application of Discovery learning method with an interactive multimedi basedactiveness Maromedia Flash 8. This can be seen from: 1) Studentin following the implementation of learning, 2) Activity students in interacting with teachers, 3) in group cooperation, 4) Activity of students in expressing opinions in groups, 5) Activity students participate in groups. This means that research has been done by researchers in collaboration with economic subjects teachers, Based on the results of research that has been done shows that the level of activity of each class that is, for class X IPA 1 level of student activity has percentage 85,71%, for class X IPA 2 shows the students' activity level has a percentage of 60.00%. The liveliness results for class X IPA 1 were treated usingmedia Macromedia Flash 8 and class X IPA 2 using the image media. This shows that the use of media Macromedia Flash 8 more can improve student activeness in the implementation of learning.
