Abstract

This study aims to (1) find out the development of analogue media of volcanism in learners (2) to know learning outcomes using analog media of volcanism (3) Strengthening learning outcomes in learners.This research is a research and development (R & D) using Borg and Gall design model development. The integration of volcanism analogue media uses aquarium dynamo, pulp, board, bucket, paralon and wire mesh. Design research using One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design, This design aims to determine the results of student learning outcomes after using analogue media volcanism. The population in this study is all students of class X IPS MA YAPIM Penawangan Year Teaching 2017/2018 ago 28 learners. Sampling with sampling method saturated means to become a member of the group into a sample of research. Technical data used are list, test, and questionnaire. Data analysis technique in this research is test of normality and test of difference / hypothesis test. The result of the research shows that (1) the development of analogue media of volcanism on lithosphere material in MA YAPIM Penawangan using cooperative learning method with learning strategy make the fit goes well and conducive, (2) The result of learning using vulkanisme analogue media that is increasing the average value of pretest 50 , 23% and posttest average post 77,14% and (3) student learning achievement happened by media of analog of volcanism on litosphere material based on t test test of pretest and posttest data showing significant value 0.000 meaning <0,05.
