Abstract

Mountain climbing is one of the most challenging sports activities. Mountain climbers need to know the basic techniques of mountain climbing, because mountaineering techniques have a very important role and not everyone knows the ways of climbing, therefore researchers developed an Application of Mounting Android-Based Mounting Tutorial to make it easier for the general public to the climbers. The Android-based Mount Climbing Tutorial app includes tutorials (preparation, p3k, climbing techniques), tools, mountains, quizzes, weather, maps and tracks. The mountain menu section in this app has limits that only provide the mountains that are often on the tray in Central Java. This app works well in accordance with its function and all the features that exist in the application of android based mountain climbing tutorials have been running properly. From the test a number of 30 respondents got the average result of the total test score with percentage of 81.46%.
