Abstract

¬Government affairs in the field of manpower carried out by the Office of Manpower, one of the executor of these duties is the Office of Manpower and Transmigration Bantul regency. As the executor of the duties must have several duties that must be implemented, one of them in the case of industrial relations disputes settlement, especially disputes disputes that occurred in companies in the region of Bantul regency. Layoffs are disputes arising from the lack of conformity of opinion concerning the termination of employment relationship undertaken by either party. In accordance with the provisions of Article 151 Paragraph (1) of Law Number 13 Year 2003 that in principle all parties strived to avoid the occurrence of termination of employment, but on the empirical data it was inevitable even the cause of the dispute. This research uses empirical juridical approach and uses descriptive research type. Types of data used include primary data and secondary data. Data collection methods used were literature study and field study (interview). Data analysis method used is qualitative analysis.
