Abstract
The inequality of income distribution between low-income and high-income communities is a common problem in developing countries such as Indonesia. The inequality of income distribution is a matter of economic development that can be influenced by many things. In this study the authors take the title "Analysis Inequality Distribution Income And Factors Affecting Inter District / City Se-Karisidenan Surakarta Year 2004-2015". This study uses 3 (three) independent variables, namely the number of poor people, human development index, and minimum wage. This study aims to determine the level of inequality and magnitude of the influence of the number of poor people, human development index, minimum wage against the level of income inequality in Surakarta residency 2004-2015. This research is a quantitative research using secondary data obtained from Central Bureau of Statistics of Central Java. The data used in the form of cross section 7 districts / cities and time series during 2008-210. The method of analysis used in this research is panel data regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that the Human Development Index and Minimum Wages have a significant effect on income inequality. While the number of poor people does not significantly affect the number of poor people. Keywords: Inequality Income, Poverty, Human Development Index, Minimum Wage
