Abstract

Chronic Obstruktive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is a preventable and treatable disease characterized by the constant limitations of air flow that are usually progressive and associated with a chronic inflammatory response of the respiratory tract and lungs to toxic particles or gases To determine the implementation of physiotherapy in reducing shortness of breath, sputum expenditure, increased thorac expansion, and increased functional activity with nebulizer modalities, chest physiotherapy, and thorac cage mobilization. After 6 times of therapy, the results of the assessment of shortness of breath T0: 4 to T5: 2, increased thoracic expansion in axila T0: 2 cm to T5: 2,5 cm, on ICS 4 T0: 1 cm to T5: 1,5 cm, and on processus of xiphoideus T0: 1 cm to T5: 1,5 cm, and increased functional activity from T0 to T5 are in physical activity and household activity. Nebulizer and chest physiotherapy to overcome the existing disorders in case of COPD.
