Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of rewards (rewards) and punishment (punishment) on discipline in the fourth grade students of SD Muhammadiyah 22 Sruni Surakarta. In this study using the type of quantitative research with experiments that is with the control class and esksperimen class. Data collection techniques used in the study are test, questionnaire, observation and documentation. Data validity using product moment correlation technique from pearson. In the control class the learning outcomes obtained are still many students who have not completed. Students who have not completed as many as 22 students with a percentage of 56.42% while complete students there are 17 students with a percentage of 43.58%. In the experimental class results, there are many students who have completed. Students who complete as many as 23 students with percentage of 58.97% and students who have not completed there are 16 students with 41.03% percentage. In the t test, the experimental result of the experimental class (pretest) and the control obtained the t-test result of 0.79 and in the experiment class study result (posttest) and control, the result of t-test is 1.12. In the experimental and experimental class experimental questionnaire data obtained t-test results of 1.77 and in the data questionnaires reward and punishment experimental class and control obtained t-test results of 0.83. T table test result that is equal to 3,42. Because t count is smaller than ttable then hypothesis accepted that there is influence of reward (reward) and punishment (punishment) to discipline in student learning fourth grade SD Muhammadiyah 22 Sruni Surakarta
