Abstract

Background : Unnatural work attitudes during work is one of the factors of the emergence of low back pain. Lower back pain is one of the most frequent workers or employees to create unpleasant conditions accompanied by pain and limitations in the move. Objective : This study aims to determine the relationship between attitude and employment with the incidence of low back pain in employees of PT. Telkom Surakarta. Method : This research is obervasional with cross sectional approach. The sampling technique using simple random sampling with the number of 42 people as respondents. Data analysis using Spearman correlation test. Result : Based on the statistic test that researchers have done, the data obtained is not normal distribution with p <0,05. The result of the test showed that there was a correlation between the working attitude of the sitting with the incidence of lower back pain, the value of r = 0,529 with p = 0,000 (p <0,05). Working relationship between sit and low back pain was obtained r = 0,433 with p = 0,004 (p <0,05). Conclusion : There is relationship of attitude and length of service with the incidence of low back pain in employees of PT. Telkom Surakarta.
