Abstract
Pondok Pesantren be a creation of the young generation with the teaching system different from the pattern of education in general in formal education, making this one of the education system which has considerable opportunities to create human resources, the skills of religious knowledge, general knowledge and skill skill , Data from 2018 Boarding School boarding school in Klaten district there are about 30 cottage providing religious education. Education curriculum boarding school in Klaten district is largely traditional Islamic boarding school, and therefore to accommodate the growing demands of the times. Modern Boarding an appropriate container to meet those needs. In addition to religious science modern boarding school also includes education-general science education in its curriculum. So the curriculum is taught as schools in general, starting from the morning until noon. While the religious sciences are taught outside the classroom, starting from noon till night and in the early morning before general timetable. Religious education is indeed a very important educational, even religious education is mandatory for every religious community, especially Islam. But in human life requires knowledge and common knowledge for life. This is much needed by the community, that they can fulfill their knowledge of the science of religion and still get a decent general knowledge to them. Klaten district, is a district in Central Java province. In Klaten district yet a boarding school that has a concept of Modern Boarding. Thus, to follow developments and competition existing school curriculum in Indonesia, then in need of a boarding school that adopts modern education system in the education curriculum. Contemporary Modern architecture is an attempt to showcase an architectural work products either physical form or in the form of non-physical. to get a good concept of Contemporary Architecture and able to accommodate the occupants as well as all activities that support the Boarding School. expected by the planning and design, is able to produce a design that can accommodate a boarding school in Klaten district activities.
