Abstract

ABSTRACT Bekangan village is a village located in the Village Sembungan Nogosari District of Boyolali. The village is an area of central region wooden furniture industry, which nearly every local residents are craftsmen of wooden furniture and home owners of the furniture industry. But that is a problem in the village is the place of production of furniture craftsmen who becomes one with the residence. Unwittingly residents in the long term will be disrupted health. This is a result of the furniture production process that produces very disturbing pollutants such as dust amplasan health wood, the noise of the means of production, particle remnants spraying furniture finishing processes. Seeing the condition and state of furniture craftsmen in the village Bekangan today. It would require an arrangement of furniture craftsmen settlement to become a center for the furniture industry that serves as a shelter, a place of production, where sales are arranged in such a way so as to improve the quality of health, income, and production. On the other hand to improve the economy of local residents with their central region the furniture industry can be used as a creative tourism village wooden furniture, which explores the existing wood furniture industry.
