Abstract

National development in developing countries generally focuses on economic development through economic growth. Economic growth is closely related to GRDP. This study uses GDP data on the basis of 2010 Constant Prices by Business Field Year 2011-2016 to see the role of each sector in the economy. The purpose of this study is to find out what are potential sectors in Tulang Bawang Barat District. The analytical methods used were Location Quotients (LQ), Shift Share Estaben Marquillas, Typology Classification, and Growth Ratio Model (MRP). The result of LQ calculation shows that there are three sectors included in agriculture sector, forestry and fishery sector (1.16), manufacturing industry (1.52) and information and communication (1.03). According to the calculation of SS-EM there is only one sector of the manufacturing sector, whereas the calculation of Klassen Tipologi there are only two sectors included in Kuadaran I namely processing industry sector and information communication sector. The final analysis is the MRP, where there are six sectors that enter Class I, namely the procurement sector of electricity and gas, the large peedaganagn sector, the transportation sector, the sector of accommodation provision, the information and communication sector and the real estate sector.
