Abstract

Kudus is one of city in Java island that was home to the spread of Islam by one of Wali Songo is Sunan Kudus. This can be evidenced by the presence of the Kudus relics. As the development time, Kudus became one of the tourism estinations belonging to Indonesia. The tourists come for pilgrimage to the grave of Sunan Kudus in Menara Kudus area and Sunan Muria on the slopes of Mount Muria. It also promoted the development of supporting tourism, attractions, aksessibiltas and facilities. For lodging facilities, Kudus already has hotels convenient for tourists, while for culinary facilities, Culinary Center, namely the Taman Bojana is situated in the Simpang Tujuh area.. The area became the Centre of this public space every evening is always crowded by the people who visit so that nowadays many street vendors set up booths now stand in the area of pedestrian so disrupt pedestrian activity and activity transport. The same thing also happened in the Taman Bojana Kudus, although the Bojana as culinary center but the facilities at Taman Bojana not well-maintained and design of flat and monotonous so the longer it is feared will be less attracted visitors. The Government also has plans to redesign the building of 4 floors of luxury. Finally, I hope the proposed design of the author being able to answer the question of the problems that occur in the area of Simpang Tujuh particularly Taman Bojana ana with contemporary architecture.
