Ulfah Budiarti / A210140008. MOTIVATION CONTINUES TO HIGHER EDUCATION BE REVIEWED FROM ASPECT SOFTSKILL AND LEARNING FACILITIES IN CLASS STUDENTS XI IPS IN SMA BATIK 1 SURAKARTA. Essay. Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta. May, 2018. The purpose of this research is to know: 1) the influence of softskill on motivation to continue to college, 2) the influence of learning facilities on motivation to continue to college, 3) the influence of softskill and learning facilities on motivation to continue to university. The population in this study is the students of class XI IPS in SMA Batik 1 Surakarta as many as 200 students. This study took a sample of 127 students by using the probability sampling technique is simple random sampling. The data obtained by the questionnaire and documentation techniques that have been previously tested are the validity and reliability test. Data analysis was performed by multiple regression techniques, including t test, F test, relative and effective donation. The results obtained: (1) softskill have a significant effect on the motivation to continue to university is shown with tcount value of 3.686> ttable 2.268 and probability of 0.000 < 0.05. (2) learning facilities have an effect on motivation to continue to university shown by tcount value 3,204 > ttable 2,268 and probability 0.000 < 0,05. (3) softskill and learning facilities simultaneously influence the motivation to continue to college is shown with the value of Fcount 22,249 > 3,069 and probability of 0.000 < 0.05. (4) softskill variable gives relative donation 54,80% and effective contribution 20,3%. Learning facility variables give relative donation 45,20% and effective contribution 6,1%. R2 calculation result is 26,4%. This means that softskill variable and learning facilities have an effect of 26.4% on motivation to continue to college, 73,5 is influenced by other variables.
