Abstract

One of the successes in preventing maternal mortality is influenced by a good level of basic knowledge about pregnancy and childbirth and getting antenatal care counseling so that mothers can plan labor and know if complications occur. Objective:This study aims to determine the level of knowledge of pregnant women about the high risk of pregnancy at Puskesmas Toroh Grobogan District. This research is descriptive quantitative research with cross sectional approach. Research Methodology: The study population was all mothers who visited the Puskesmas Toroh with a total of 50mothers pimigravia.di Puskesmas Toroh District, sample of 50 pregnant primigravida study obtained by total sampling technique. Conclusions: of the study were (1) Characteristics of pregnant women in the work area of Puskesmas Toroh Grobogan District mostly aged 20-35 years or non-pregnancy age (98%), high school graduates (52%), housewives (64%), income level 1 - 3 million (48%), 1 to 12 months of age or first trimester (44%), maternal central tendency value of high risk pregnancy obtained lowest score is 2, highest 15, mode 13 and standard deviation 2.73, and (3) maternal knowledge frequency distribution about high risk of pregnancy in Toroh Puskesmas work area Grobogan Regency is mostly good (50%).
