Abstract

The purpose of this study is to know 1) Contribution of education and training (training) cooperatives on participation in Kopma UMS. 2) Contribution of members' motivation to participation in Kopma UMS. 3) Contributions of education and training (training) cooperatives and motivation of members to participation in Kopma UMS. This research is anquantitative research ex post facto. The population in this study is the common member of Kopma UMS which amounts to 749. The sample of this study amounted to 115 members taken with the technique of Quota Sampling. Methods of data collection using questionnaires and documentation. The prerequisite test of data analysis includes normality test, linearity test, multicolinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, autocorrelation test. Data analysis techniques used are multiple regression analysis, t test, F test, coefficient of determination, effective contribution and relative donation. The result of regression analysis obtained regression equation Y = -8,459 + 0,483X1 + 0,481X2. The conclusion is 1) There is a contribution of education and training (training) cooperatives on participation in Kopma UMS. It is based on t test in the know that the value of sig 0.012 <0.05 at a significant level of 5% with an effective contribution of 21.9% and a relative contribution of 54%. 2) There is a contribution of members' motivation to participation in Kopma UMS. This is based on t test in the know that the sig value 0.029 <0.05 at 5% significant level with effective contribution of 18.7% and 46% relative contribution. 3) There is a contribution of education and training (training) cooperatives and motivation of members to participation in Kopma UMS. It is based on f test that the sig value 0.000 <0,05 at 5% significant level. 4) The coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.406 indicates that the contribution of education and training (training) and motivation cooperatives members of the participation is 40.6% while the rest influenced by other variables.
