Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of big book media story on linguistic intelligence for group A of TK Karangdukuh Pertiwi in the academic year of 2017/2018. The method of this research was quantitative method, using experimental research type with pre-experimental research design. Pre-experimental research design with one group pretest-postest design. This research was conducted in TK Pertiwi Karangdukuh. The subjects of this research were 15 children of group A in TK Pertiwi Karangdukuh. Technique of the collecting data in this research was done through documentation and observation, which was called participant observation. Technique of the data analysis in this research used ttest with the help of SPSS 15.0 for windows program. The result of data analysis uses ttest obtained tcount -35,864 ≤ - ttable, that was -1,76131 hence H0 rejected which meant it could be concluded that there was the influence of big book media story to linguistic intelligence in group A of Karangdukuh Pertiwi in the academic year of 2017/2018.
