Abstract

This study aims to analyze and find out how much influence the economic growth, education level, and employment figures on poverty reduction in Central Java 2012-2014. This research uses secondary data that is time series data year 2012-2014. Data on the number of poor as an indicator of poverty, GRDP as economic growth, education level and employment rate. Analyzer uses panel method with Fixed Effect Model (FEM). Based on the results of the analysis found that economic growth has a significant effect on poverty reduction. Similarly, the employment rate has a significant effect on poverty reduction. While the level of education has no significant effect on poverty reduction. Therefore, the government should expand the employment and pay more attention to the special education of the Central Java region so as to reduce poverty in Central Java.
