Abstract

The unemployment rate can lead to public productivity and incomes that result in decreased income per capita and poverty, so it is very influential on the development of a country. This research aims to determine whether there is the influence of economic growth, inflation, and investment on the unemployment rate in Indonesia. Independent variables used in this research are economic growth, inflation, and investment from website of BPS and World Bank period 1987-2016. The dependent variable used is the unemployment rate in Indonesia from website of BPS period 1987-2016. The type of data used is secondary time series data. This research using OLS (Ordinary Least Square) method, with estimated eviews. The results of this research show the variable of economic growth, inflation and investment have a negative effect and significant to the unemployment rate in Indonesia.
