Abstract
This study entitled "The Analysis of Influence of Rupiah Exchange Rate of Inflation and Foreign Exchange Reserves to Total Money Supply in Indonesia". The objective is to analyze the exchange rate of rupiah inflation and foreign exchange reserves against the money supply in Indonesia. The data used in this research is secondary data in the form of time series. Time series data consisting of 5 years and includes data per month for the period January 2012 to December 2015 Total data in this study 5x12 = 60 data. This research uses multiple linear regression method of ordinary least square (OLS) model. The results of the study are a indicate that thecalculation of normality residual data test with Jarque Bera model is normally distributed. Test model specification with Ramsey Reset model shows that the model is linear. The classical assumption test shows that there is no multicollinearity problem, there is no problem of heteroskedastisitas and there is no problems of autocorrelation. The result of t test can be seen that rupiah exchange rate and foreign exchange reserve have significant effect to the money supply while the inflation and interest rate variable have no significant effect to the money supply. F test results show the model used exist, R² obtained a value of 25.66%, which means that 25.66% of the money supply variation can be explained by the variable of the rupiah exchange rate, interest rate, inflation and foreign exchange reserves. While the remaining 74.34% is explained by other independent variables included in the model.
