Abstract

This research includes an interesting objective to study can be formulated that is 1) Describe the form of prefix errors and in the narrative text of students of class VIII SMP Muhammadiyah Pangkal Pinang. 2) To describe the use of prefixes and in the narrative text of the seventh grade students of SMP Muhammadiyah Pangkal Pinang. This study uses descriptive qualitative method. The data sources in this study are the using and the prefix errors of me- and di- in the student narrative essay. The technique of collecting data used are attention and record. The technique of data analysis uses agih. The data validity used is triangulation technique. The results of this study are the using and the prefix errors found in this study there are two kinds of me- and di-. The using of me- prefix contains of 4 words and the using of di- prefix contains of 13 words.
