Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the technical efficiency of syariah and non syariah hotels in Sarangan tourism object in the period of 3 months (July- September) in 2017. The kind of data used in this research is primary data with a sample of 21 hotels from population of 43 hotels located in Sarangan. The method used is non-parametric analysis at is Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) which use output variable number of guest use as input variable are room number and amount of labor. Result of research indicate that hotel in tourism object of Telaga Sarangan have not reached efficiency level, as many as 3 of 21 hotels have reached 100% efficiency level. While 18 hotels have not been efficient (<100%) in running its operations. The results stated that there was a difference of efficiency at every level of hotel.
