Abstract

Background : Xerosis is a term for dry skin that often occurs on the part of the lower leg, heel, elbow, and fingers. Xerosis is because due to lack of moisture due to the loss of limpid and natural mosturizing factor of the stractum corneum Purpose : To know the implementation of physiotherapy in reducing xerosis in both lower limbs and maintaining skin elasticity with Hydrotherapy modalities, SPA with massage and exercise therapy techniques.. Conclusion : After therapy for 6 times in the results of decreased xerosis in both lower limbs. ODSS from T0: 3 to T6: 2, with the ODSS scale it can be concluded that there is a decrease in xerosis. Conclution: Hydrotherapy and SPA can decrease xerosis and exercise therapy can maintain skin elasticity.
