Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the effect of inflation, population, city minimum wage and government expenditure on unemployment in Central Java in 2012-2016. The data used in this study is secondary data in the form of time series and cross section data in 35 districts / municipalities of Central Java Province. The method of analysis used is panel data regression analysis. The results showed that inflation and government expenditure had a positive and significant impact on unemployment in Central Java, while the population and minimum wage in the region had a negative and significant effect on unemployment in Central Java
