Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of GDP, BI Rate, and Reserve Exchange on Foreign Direct Investment. This study uses quarterly data (time series) quarterly from the period 2010: 01-2017: 02. Analyzer that used in this research is Error Corection Model (ECM) and Classic Assumption Test which processed with Econometric Views (E-Views) program. The results of this study indicate that in the short term the Reserve Exchange has significant effect on Foreign Direct Investment. The variable of GDP and BI Rate in the short term have no significant influence. Meanwhile, in the long run, the BI Rate variable significantly influences Foreign Direct Investment. The long-term GDP and foreign exchange reserves have no significant effect on Foreign Direct Investment.
