Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of social care characters, the obstacles faced in the application of social care characters, and solutions made to overcome the obstacles in the application of social caring character in Motor Klub activities at Member Pesantenan Pecinta Automotive Pati Kota Pati The type of this research is qualitative descriptive research. The data in this research is the application of social caring character in motor klub activity to the member of pesantenan organization of automotive lovers of Kota Pati. Subject in this research include the chairman of motorcycle klub and member of the pesantenan organization of automotive lovers of Kota Pati. Data collection techniques in this study is interactive which includes interviews, observation, and documentation. The validity of the data in this study used two kinds of triangulation, the first triangulation of data sources and triangulation techniques or data collection methods. Data analysis technique in this research use interactive model. The results showed that 1) Implementation of social caring character in Motor Klub activities at Member Pesantenan Pecinta Lovers Automotive City Pati, including: Treating others with courtesy, Mau share, Able to work together, Want to be involved in community activities. 2) Obstacles encountered in the application of social caring character in Motor Klub activities at the Pesantenan Pecinta Automotive Lovers Association of Pati City, including: Internal factors, consisting of lack of motivation in members, and lack of spirit within the members. External factors, consisting of environmental factors and environmental factors of society. 3) Solutions undertaken to overcome obstacles in the application of social caring character in Motor Klub activities to Member of Pesantenan Pecinta Automotive Society of Pati City, including: giving direction which contains message about the importance of being polite and courteous to others, giving direction which contains message about importance the nature of giving to others, giving punishment, and giving responsibilities and raising the social attitude to members in carrying out responsibilities.
