Abstract

Asthma is a chronic and complex airway disorder that causes symptoms such as shortness of breath, wheezing, and coughing especially at night, early morning, and during cold weather. To determine the benefits of drug administration with a nebulizer, to know the exercise of segmental breathing, and diaphragmatic respiration in asthma cases. After 3 th therapy, obtained the evaluation result that is decreased shortness of breath from value of borg scale 5 to 3. There is increasing of expansion of thoraks in nipple and xiphi sternum with increase 1 cm. There is still a wheezing sound from auscultation of the back and an increase in functional activity from the value of MRC 4 to 3. Giving nebulizer modalities, segmental breathing, and diaphragmatic breathing can reduce the degree of breathlessness, increasing the development of thoracic expansion, control the respiratory pattern, and increase functional activity.
