Abstract

Rheumatoid arthritis is a disease that can cause pain. in patients with rheumatoid arthritis stressors can occur in the presence of various forms and categories such as patients assume that the drug or therapy is given is not effective or consider it as a painkiller just so as to drink or do therapy if it is only just or feel a complaint so that control of the activity can not be achieved . This study aims to determine the picture of adherence response to therapi program in patients with remathoid arthritis in the community. This research is a quantitative descriptive analytic with point time approach. The study population was all of the rheumatoid arthritis clients in kartosura which amounted to 117 respondents. The sample of the study were 32 people determined using quota sampling technique. Data collection of research using questionnaire, while data analysis using descriptive analysis. The conclusion of this research is characteristic of rheumatoid artist patient in working area of Kartasura Public Health Center most of them are 46 - 55 years old, female, elementary and junior high school education, housewife (IRT), and long suffering rheumatic arthritik 5-10 year, the response of rheumatoid artist patients in the working area of Puskesmas Kartasura to drug therapy is mostly negative, and the compliance of rheumatoid artist in the work area of Puskesmas Kartasura towards drug therapy is mostly non-compliance.
