Abstract

Drop hand is a condition caused by the paralysis of extensor muscle groups from the hands and fingers. The radial nerve is the largest branch of the brachial plexus. This radial nerve starts at the lower limit of m. minor pectoralis as a direct continuation of the posterior trunks of the brachial plexus. To know the implementation of physiotherapy in improving muscle strength, increase lingup joint motion and decreased oedem with electrical stimulation modalities and exercise therapy. After 6 treatments, the result of increased muscle strength of Shoulder, elbow, wrist, enhancement of LGS Shoulder, elbow, wrist and MCP, and the occurrence and decrease of wrist swelling. Electrical Stimulation and Exercises can increase muscle strength, increase the scope of motion of the joints and reduce the oedem. Keywords: Drop Hand, Electrical Stimulation dan Exercise.
