Abstract
This study aims to determine whether the trial of model socialization of tolerance values using of strategy Role Playing combination of Debate can improve the positive attitude of youth of Jonggrangan Village, North Klaten District, Klaten Regency. The experimental type used is Pre-experimental with One Group Pretest Posttest design. This research was conducted in Jonggrangan Village, North Klaten District, Klaten Regency. The sample in this study amounted to 40 youth. The sampling technique used is cluster sampling. Data collection techniques in this study using questionnaires and observation. The indicators used in this study 1) do not impose the will on others; 2) to respect others who are different from them; 3) recognize the difference by taking a positive attitude. The validity of this research using Pearson Correlation Product Moment formula. Reliability using Alpha formula. Data of the research results were then analyzed using Shapio Wilk normality test. Hypothesis test in this research using Paired Sample T-test. The results show that t arithmetic -11.424 is smaller than t table 2.021 or probability 0.000 < (level of significant 0.05) with df equal to 39. This means that there is an increase in positive attitude the youth of Jonggrangan Village, North Klaten District, Klaten Regency after a trial of model socialization of tolerance values using of strategy Role Playing combination of Debate or the mean value between (pretest) and (posttest) is different. The average value (posttest) 45.00 higher than the average value (pretest) 38.70 this means H0 rejected and Ha accepted.
