Abstract

There are two case who can influence the validity in try out question that is, that question which are made is corresponding with the pass of standart competence, and a learning time from the teacher is influential to students ability when they do the try out question, until it known the question is valid or not from the answer of the student. Aim of this research are to describe how the content validity in try out questions of bahasa Indonesia XII classin SMK Muhammadiyah Kartasura year of 2016/2017, second, to describe the empirical validity in try out questions of bahasa Indonesia XII classin SMK Muhammadiyah Kartasura year of 2016/2017. This research used qualitative description approximation method with interactive analysis technique and data collection with document analysis and study literature. The result of this research is there are 60 try out questions that 31 questions are corresponding with the pass of standart competence meanwhile 29 questions are not corresponding with the pass of standart competence. Empirical validity in try out questions is 12 questions are valid, and 48 questions are invalid. Keywords: content validity, empirical validity, try out.
