Abstract
The aims of this study were : 1) The management of innovative classroom in MI Muhammadiyah Program Khusus Kartasura. 2) The role of teachers in innovative classroom management in MI Muhammadiyah Khusus Program Kartasura. 3) The obstacle encountered in the innovative classroom management in MI Muhammadiyah Program Khusus Kartasura and the solution. The type of this research was qualitative research with phenomenology research design. Techniques of collecting data were using interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques conducting using to Miles and Huberman (Moleong, 2013: 341) through the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusions or verification. The validity of the data was using triangulation technique and source triangulation. The results showed : 1) MI Muhammadiyah Program Khusus Kartasura have been conduct of innovative classroom management. 2) The role of the teachers in learning procces was being manager or teaching manager, teachers also acted as facilitator, motivator, demonstrator, mediator and evaluator. 3) Although there were still have a few obstacles, but the teacher has provided a solution so that these obstacles can be minimized. So, the management of innovative classroom in MI Muhammadiyah Program Kartasura can goes well.
