Edi Purwanto. Q100160076. Development of Learning Tool Model-Based IPS Modeling Problem Based Learning Media Video Assistance To Improve Student Results Class V SDN 1 Mojosongo Year 2018. Thesis. Postgraduate Program of Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta. 2018. IPS learning in SD Negeri 1 Mojosongo showed unsatisfactory results and could not reach the expected goal. Student learning outcomes have not shown the expected results. Students just sit, stay, and listen and record what the teacher teaches. Students are required to memorize what is conveyed by the teacher and memorize the reading contained in the textbook. This causes the learning atmosphere to be saturated. This research has objectives: 1. To describe and analyze the feasibility of learning tools IPS-oriented model Problem Based Learning assisted video media, 2.Untuk improve student learning outcomes class V SD after applying learning tools IPS oriented model Problem Based Learning assisted video media. This research includes the type of research R and D. Development of the product in question is to develop learning tools oriented IPS model Problem Based Learning video-aided media. This product development process data refers to the product development that is done by using quantitative and qualitative data analysis. The results of the research show: 1.feasibility study of IPS-oriented model of Problem Based Learning model with video media consists of: (a) good categorization, (b) readability of BAS and LKS categorized well, (c) sensitivity of sensitive item. 2.the practicality of learning tools developed include: (a) the effectiveness of IPS learning based on video-assisted PBL video is very well done (active, innovative, and fun), (b) the constraints encountered during the learning is the response of students long enough karean not yet familiar with the PBL model. Based on the results of research and development of learning device products known classical completeness on the pretest of 20 students only 35% or only 7 students are complete. In the posttest result 100% or all students have achieved mastery learning. Based on the results of the data, it can be seen N-gain of 0.67 is in the category of medium (increase its ability not greater than 0.7) Keywords: development, learning tool IPS, video media, learning outcomes
