Abstract
This study aims to describe the discipline character education planning, to describe the implementation process of disciplinary character education, and to describe the evaluation of the implementation of character discipline education in the learning of Civics at SD Muhammadiyah 11 Mangkuyudan Surakarta. This study uses a qualitative approach that describes the process of management of academic supervision at SD Muhammadiyah 11 Mangkuyudan Surakarta, according to the observations of researchers. This research covers the mechanism of planning, implementation, and evaluation of the implementation process of learning character of Civics at SD Muhammadiyah 11 Mangkuyudan Surakarta. Subjects in this study were principal, teachers who teach Civics in class III and V, as well as some students of class III and V. The object of research is the management of disciplinary character in Civics in SD Muhammadiyah 11 Mangkuyudan Surakarta. Data obtained through interviews, observation, and documentation analysis, as well as test the credibility of the data used using observational persistence and triangulation methods. The discipline character education planning is carried out by the teacher with the use of teaching materials such as syllabus, prota, lesson plan, and basic learning book. Learning method that is implemented using classical learning method and problem solving. The process of implementing the application of character education of discipline has been carried out consistently and still seen from the application of every element of discipline through the learning of Civics and other learning, with the application of regulations, as well as giving punishment for the violating students. As well as evaluation of the application of character discipline education implemented using a scoring system that involves three aspects of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor so that learning objectives can be achieved in a balanced manner that is not burdensome on one aspect.
