Abstract
The purpose of the study there are three, (1) To test the contribution of parent support and learning facilities to the results of learning mathematics indirectly through student learning motivation, (2) To test the contribution of parent support and learning facilities to student's learning motivation, and (3) to test the contribution of parent support and learning facilities to the learning result of the mathematics indirectly through student's learning motivation. motivation to learn about mathematics learning result. Type of correlational quantitative research. The research population is 251 students of class VII SMP N 5 Surakarta. The sample of 154 students is determined by the Slovin formula. Sampling with proportional random sampling. Data collection techniques with closed questionnaires. Data analysis technique used path analysis with assumption test of F test, T test, and R2 test. Results of the study, (1) Parental support and learning facilities contribute simultaneously to mathematics learning outcomes through learning motivation with (α = 0.05). Partially, parental support does not directly contribute to mathematical learning outcomes and indirectly contribute positively through learning motivation. Learning facilities do not contribute directly to mathematics learning outcomes and indirectly contribute positively through learning motivation. (2) Parental support and learning facilities contributed simultaneously to learning motivation with (α = 0.05). Partially, the contribution of parental support that directly affects learning motivation is 33.8%. While the contribution of learning facilities that directly affect the motivation of learning amounted to 7.56%. (3) Learning motivation contributes to mathematics learning result with (α = 0,05). The contribution of learning motivation toward mathematics learning result is 11,02%.
