Abstract
The contain of Hand sanitizeris alcohols with levels of 65-95%, it’s can cause irritation to the skin. In this study make hand sanitizers with alcohol of less than 65%, triclosan and manalagi mango leaf extract can inhibit bacterial growth because they contain flavonoids, alkaloids, steroids, tannins, and saponins. The purpose of this study was to organoleptic test (color, aroma, pH) of gel hand sanitizer. This experimental study used a complete randomized block design (RAL) of two factorials namely mango leaf extract concentration (5 ml, 5,5 ml, 6 ml) and alcohol with triclosan ratio A1 = 3 ml: 2gr, A2 = 2ml: 1.75gr, A3 = 1ml: 1.5gr, the result data will be analisis with qualitative descriptive data analysis. The results showed that organoleptic test at all treatments showed pH 3 (acidic). The resulting color is the same as the different concentrations and the most distinctive aroma of mango leaves is M3A3.
