Abstract
This study aims to analyze the effect of labor, harvest and fertilizer on rice production in Central Java. Using cross section data covering 35 districts / municipalities in Central Java in 2015, the data were obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of Central Java, as well as related agencies concerned in supporting and achieving the objectives, while other sources of information were sourced from books or research reports that have been conducted as long as it has to do with research objectives, scientific journals and websites. The analysis model used in this research is Ordinary Least Square (OLS). The results of this study indicate that the variable of labor (TK) has a significant positive effect on rice production in Central Java in 2015, the variable of harvest area (LP) has a significant positive effect on rice production in Central Java in 2015, and fertilizer variable (PK) a significant positive effect on rice production in Central Java in 2015. The results showed (R2) of 0.998931, meaning 99.9% variation of rice production dependent variable in Central Java can be explained by independent variables ie labor (TK), harvested area (LP ) and, fertilizer (PK) in the statistical model of 99.9%.
