The quality of electrical energy that received by customers is influenced by the distribution system. That is required power distribution system with good reliability. A power distribution system can be said reliably if interference and blackouts that occur within a certain period of time under the established reliability index. The size of the reliability of a system can be expressed by calculating SAIFI (System Average Interruption Frequency Index) and SAIDI (System Average Interruption Duration Index) that is how often the system experienced blackouts and how long the blackout occurs within a certain timeframe of one year. This study aims to analyze the reliability of power distribution system in PT. PLN Rayon Palur based on SAIDI and SAIFI reliability index using distribution disturbance data that occurred during 2017. The steps undertaken by the author is to collect data disturbances, blackout data, and customer data obtained at PT. PLN (Persero) APJ Surakarta. The results obtained that according to IEEE std 1366 - 2003, the PLR.15 feeder is categorized less reliably as the SAIFI value exceeds the IEEE defined limit of 1,617 times / customer / year. According to the standard WCS reliability index (World Class Service) and WCC (World Class Company) ie PT. PLN (Persero) as a world-class company, total value of SAIDI on Rayon Palur feeder is categorized less reliable, ie 2,904 hours / customer / year. This value is far above the specified limit of 1,666 hours / customer.
