Abstract
Injection molding is a process of plastic forming by melting plastic material, which is injected then into a mold. By using injection molding the plastic can be formed fit as the design of the product wanted. The study uses vertica-typel injection molding machine completed by hidrolik pneumatic press machine. It uses plastic stone material of polypropylene (pp) and temperature variety of 150°C, 155°C, 160°C, 165°C and 170°C. The result of the study shows that at the temperature of 150°C the product is less good because there are Short Shot deformity average about 754.256 mm². At the temperature of 155°C the product is also less good because the Short Shot deformity average is 71.083 mm². At the temperature of 160°C, 165°C and 170°C the products are good and there is no Short Shot deformity on the wall of the product resulted. At the temperature of 170°C the product is the best of all product at the other temperature variety. It is tidy, white-coloured, and optimal product.
