Abstract
The company’s growing competition seems to demand the company to grow more and complete competitively in order for the company to survive. One way is to maximize corporate profits. The study aims to analyze whether or not the influence of liquidity variables, working capital turnover, and sales growth on the profitability of Food and Beverage Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The population of this study were Food and Beverage Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2012-2016. The sample of research was taken by using purposive sampling method, so that obtained by 10 companies that qualified as sample. This research uses regression analysis method to find out the influence of independent variable 2 consisting ofliquidity, working capital turnover, and sales growth on the profitability (ROA).The result showed that the independent variables (liquidity, working capital turnover, and sales growth) simultaneously (F test) affect the profitability while partially (t test) indicates that the liquidity variable has no effect on profitability, working capital turnover variables significantly affect profitability and variable of sales growth have significant affect to profitability.
